In August 2017, The Blue Book of the United Kingdom – Annual Report on Development of the United Kingdom (2015-2016) was rated Excellent by the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, among approximately 400 annual reports published in 2016 in China. The report was compiled by the British Studies Centre, Beijing Foreign Studies University. Its keynote article Referendum on EU and UK-EU Relations won a third prize, which was co-composed by Professor Wang Zhanpeng, Director of BFSU British Studies Center, Jiang Shixue and Li Jingkun from the Institute of European Studies of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, Yang Fang, assistant researcher from China Institute of Contemporary International Relations and Ni Haining, lecturer from PLA University of Foreign Languages.
The result was released in the capital city of Qinghai Province, Xi’ning, at the 18th Annual Year Books Conference from August 4 to 5, 2017, which was sponsored by the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, Social Sciences Academic Press and Qinghai Academy of Social Sciences.
