In September 2016, The Blue Book of the United Kingdom – Annual Report on Development of the United Kingdom (2014-2015) was awarded the prize of Excellent by the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, among more than 300 annual reports published in 2015, and it ranked 8^th in the category of International Studies. The report was compiled by the British Studies Centre, Beijing Foreign Studies University. Its keynote article Prospect of 2015 UK General Election and the Conservative Government’s Foreign and Domestic Policies, written by Center Director Professor Wang Zhanpeng and some other scholars, won a third prize.
